Prepaid Reloadable Cards Program Ending
After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue our Prepaid Reloadable Card program effective September 1, 2024.
If you are in possession of an Electro Savings prepaid reloadable card, please take note of the important dates below:
September 1, 2024 – We will no longer renew or replace prepaid reloadable cards.
Cards that expire during or after September 2024 will not be renewed. If your prepaid reloadable card expires or is lost or stolen, please contact us to obtain a refund of your remaining balance. If you have direct deposit or recurring payments with this prepaid card account, please take the necessary steps to update your payment preferences at this time.
March 3, 2025 – The reload feature will be turned off.
The option to add funds to prepaid reloadable cards will be turned off on March 3, 2025. For balance inquiries, reference the website or phone number found on the back of the card.
May 1, 2025 – All prepaid reloadable cards will be closed.
All remaining prepaid reloadable card accounts will be closed, and any remaining balance will be refunded. To ensure a smooth refund process, please verify the contact information on your prepaid reloadable card prior to May 1, 2025. For information regarding your refund or alternative product options, please contact us.

Set up your paycheck, retirement check, social security or any other recurring deposits to your Electro savings or checking account. Funds are automatically deposited into your account and available for use. No need to rush to the credit union, no postage costs, and no more worry about lost or stolen checks in the mail. Just give the individual setting up your payroll or recurring deposit our routing number (281081495) and your Electro Savings account number.
Safe deposit boxes are available at our Maryland Heights office in a variety of sizes for annual rental. To maintain rental on a safe deposit box, you must be a member in good standing with at least a $1 balance in an Electro share account.

Incoming Wire
To wire funds to your Electro savings account from another financial institution, provide the sending financial institution the following information:
- Wire To: Millennium Corporate Credit Union St. Louis, Mo. 63146 ABA#301180111
- Beneficiary Financial Institution: Electro Savings Credit Union St Louis, Mo. 63146 ABA#281081495
- Beneficiary: Your Full Name and Electro Savings Account Number
Outgoing Wire
To wire funds from your Electro Savings account to another financial institution, contact the receiving financial institution for their receiving instructions. Then call or text us at 314.434.6470 for the next step in the process. We may ask that you visit an Electro branch to confirm your information.
There is a fee for each outgoing Domestic and International Wire Transfer.
Wire requests must be submitted prior to 2:00 p.m. Central Time.
Please note: We must have a Wire Transfer Agreement on file in order to process your request to wire funds from your Electro account. If this is your first outgoing wire transfer request to us, you must complete a Wire Transfer Agreement. Call or text us at 314.434.6470 to request a form.
Protecting You From Wire Transfer Fraud
We have an obligation to know our members. We must ensure that requests to wire funds from an account come from rightful account owners. Fraudsters pose extreme threats to our members if we fail to know whom we are working with and ensure they have the authority to provide instructions to wire funds out of an Electro account.
We reserve the right to refuse to wire funds out of an Electro account if we believe the information provide is invalid or we are unable to verify the required information.
We provide free Notary Public services to Electro members only. A Notary is located at all four of our branches in Maryland Heights, St. Peters, Manchester and South County. We suggest you call ahead to confirm the Notary's hours that day.
A Self-Service Loose Coin Machine is available in the lobby of our Maryland Heights branch. There is no fee for Electro members. There is a 5% service fee for non-Electro members. Rolled coin is accepted at no fee from Electro personal account members at our St. Peters, Manchester and South County branches. There is a service fee for our business members.
